Help feed your neighbors when you shop at Meijer-Woodward Corner Market! UPDATE: The Simply Give campaign supporting Open Hands has been extended through April 2, 2022! Open Hands is pleased to be able to support our community! We plan to be open on Saturdays only for the near future. To those without access to a vehicle, you are welcome to ‘walk up’, while maintaining six feet of social distance. We also ask that guests and volunteers wear masks. We suggest that guests arrive with an empty trunk to ensure proper storage space. Guests must remain in their vehicle through the entire process to maintain social distancing. Volunteers will place bags in the trunk of your vehicle. Cars will make several stops and then will be directed to the front of the church. We are open at 9:00am and the distribution is a drive-through method. Some additional personal items such as diapers and feminine hygiene products are distributed when available. Most often, we also have fresh vegetables and fruit available to distribute. Food distribution includes shelf stable groceries, fresh meat, and toiletries. We have arrived at a plan for food distribution that will keep our guests and volunteers safe.
Open Hands Food Pantry will be open on Saturday mornings for the near future to serve guests. We are open on Saturdays from 9:00am – 10:30am for drive-through food distribution!
