Olga, I did some debugging but the logging option does not expose any errors, I did notice that you include part of Elecard AVC HD splitter deeoder and the program tries to find executables that are supposed to part of the Elecard program but don't exist because these components were transplanted into the solveigMM package not built to be part of the package.

If this was the FULL unlimited home edition I would have felt more inclined to determine which codec/filter is causing the program to crash as the reward of having it fully working might be worth the effort but since this is a feature limited version I do not feel the rewards warrent the effort required to debug this program on my system for the developer and just consign it to the pile of failed unanounced beta test versions GAOTD has been landed with. This makes it completely unusable here, it must either have some major incompatability with my existing codecs/direct show filters or those caiming to have got it working are lying, which is unlikely. Also fails with mkv and mp4, even a little 20Mbyte sample.mp4 file caused it to crash! Also MOV files from a cannon digital SLR camera.
